Prof. Vincent Ho is a career risk management and safety professional with 35 years of experience in transportation, nuclear, aerospace, and defence industries. Prof. Ho is IOSH’s 52nd President. With its headquarters in the United Kingdom, IOSH is the world’s largest health and safety professional membership organisation with over 47,000 members worldwide. Being a charity organisation acting as a champion, supporter, adviser, advocate, and trainer for safety and health professionals working in organisations of all sizes, IOSH has a clear vision: a safe, healthy and sustainable world of work.
Prof. Ho received his BS (Hons), MS, PhD, and MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. He actively promotes the applications of risk management in enhancing safety; he is the Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Risk Management and Safety, and had served as the President of International Association of Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Management, and the President of Southern California Society for Risk Analysis. He is also a former Chair of IOSH (HK), HKIE-Safety Specialists Committee, and the Construction Industry OSH Committee of the HK Occupation Safety & Heath Council.
